These are works spanning the most of this last year made for flyers and t-shirts. The drawings I have been asked to do for friends in bands has greatly informed my love for tactile, functional and accessible art.
When people interact with a drawing in a way that is proximate and unaware is the purest form of interaction. Wearing a shirt or flicking through a book is a temporary yet personal act and the impact of this is not immediate or explicit. Yet it can be widespread and can be repeated.
I don’t care for commodification or detachment. My main endeavour is that people can be a part of art and art can be a part of people. And so it is everyday.
